This 2013 CHANEL Paris-Edinburgh Medium Burgundy Flap Shoulder Bag was part of the brand’s 2012 Metiers d’Arts show, where Karl Lagerfeld said was inspired by ‘the brutal romance of Scotland and the imagined meeting of Mary, Queen of Scots and Coco Chanel – two fashion queens.’ The interplay of the burnished silver-tone tassel and reinforced interlocking CC turn-lock fastening adds a touch of romanticism to the design. Made from high-quality, supple diamond-quilted calfskin, it features dual zip and flap fastenings and an adjustable gourmette chain shoulder strap.
